Pokemon trainer Miry and her team! An unusual combination of posh, fashion forward girl and a group of pokemon most often thought of as gross or creepy. She catches her opponents off guard with her unpredictable battle style. They never know just what will come out of the next poke-ball. With the addition of the Ultra Beast Nihilego, she has a nigh unstoppable team.

Nihilego in the far back,  Reuniclus and Cofigrigus next, then Muk, Gulpin, and Garbodor in the front.

Pokemon trainer belongs to falseprophet!

Tyke, or Ty for short, an explorer who charts uncharted territory. He is a happy-go-lucky, positive person who finds it hard to be serious for long. He is sight-impaired from an accident in early childhood and uses several mobility assistance pokemon (such as the Noivern from a previous portrait, blurred in the background) to explore the countryside. Noivern’s echo-location and powers of flight come in handy especially in mountainous regions.

The two have a very close relationship.

disclaimer: I am not blind or sight-impaired and so I tried to avoid using any particular kind of language (person-first, etc) in reference to the disability because I found varying reports on what was accepted and preferred. 

Banto and a few of his team! He’s not a trainer, but a jaded former gym leader-turned-pokemon medic. His group are all former patients that decided to stick around after he treated them. They travel with him as he goes around helping pokemon that need him, assisting at pokemon centers, and teaching lessons to willfully ignorant trainers who mistreat their pokemon.

Swampert: easy-going for the most part, but with a slow-burn temper that is really intimidating when it goes off. Sometimes it’s not clear what has set him off, but once he gets going, he will keep it up until he’s won.

Croagunk: born with a cleft pallet, he was cruelly looked over by everyone for his looks (unappealing to the masses on top of being a croagunk) until Banto and he crossed paths. They have been inseparable ever since!

Goodra: The mysterious and rare goodra is also a constant companion. Though, Banto doesn’t use pokeballs as much as your average trainer, this huge dragon type is one that can’t stay out whenever he goes into town for it’s own safety.
