Tiny!Shigaraki and Caregiver!Kurogiri are my aesthetic.
Three things to note:
Kurogiri does not really understand video games, but he tries for Shigaraki’s sake.
Poor Shigaraki, traumatized child that he was, has always had a bit of a weak bladder. He probably wet the bed well into his pre-teens. Kurogiri, knowing what he’d been through, was always understanding.
Young Shigaraki cried a lot: when he made things disintegrate by accident, when he felt afraid or frustrated, and sometimes even he wasn’t sure why.
“With all due respect, sir,” Kurogiri said in the closest thing to a hiss he would dare use in front of his employer, “you can’t just expect him to… know how to do these things. He is just a child and you–”
“I certainly can expect this of him, and I absolutely do,” All For One’s voice was calm and collected, the exact opposite of the emotional wailing of his young charge. “Tomura failed and he needs to know just how disappointing that is for me. I certainly thought he was past this… this…”
“He’s a child!” Kurogiri shouted, body threatening to escape the clothing he’d bound himself to, exposed parts igniting in a black flame. He was momentarily wreathed in black coils, his only option for emotional display. HIs hands balled into fists as he stared at the man who was too many things to title their relationship in a socially acceptable manner.
The tall, black Villain’s heaving body slowly calmed, retreating and shrinking as if to vanish completely as All For One turned slowly–dangerously slowly–to look at him. Kurogiri had never raised his voice in anger at All For One. As fear ebbed through him he spared a glance to the still sobbing Shigaraki–and he swallowed the acceptance that his thoughts of self preservation were replaced with thoughts of the boy’s well being.
“I think the boy’s emotional outburst has effected you, Kurogiri,” the evil mastermind said calmly, “I’m going to take my leave. You had better calm yourself and the boy down in my absence. I expect better from the both of you.”
Kurogiri felt his body freeze as All For One turned to leave, Shigaraki’s continued sobbing a foreboding ambiance. The void placed a hand over his chest as the other adult left, leaving Shigaraki reaching out for him like a child begging to be picked up.
